Where does the time go?!!!
After the Coyote Springs 100 I basically have just been hitting the gym, crossfit type stuff and boot camp stuff. Lots of cross training and little running. Mentally, I just have not been ready, but it is starting to come back and I get the feeling that I really want to go run!
Since the 100, I have ran 2 - 5k's and one "long" run of 6 miles! Seriously! I have run sprints on the treadmill, gym track and lots of walking but other than that, I have been doing cardio at the gym. The gym workout have been going great and I have been building back strength and muscle and my nutrition has been formulated from a friend who is a personal trainer - nutritionist and I have been following it to the T for 5 weeks now.
So far no planned runs or big races but I do have a goal to get my volume back up 40 miles per week by the end of May and maintain that throughout the summer along with continued crossfit boot camp stuff. Then I am looking at a Fall 100 as a big race, so we shall see.
Other than that I got little going on... what you all up to?
