That's right fellow bloggers, it's Friday which means, rest, relaxation, or long scheduled workouts or anything else you have planned or not planned.
First, finally getting a run in yesterday afternoon after all the high stress studying that I put in over the last 5 days. The run was great. It was a naked run! (come on now, it was 39*, I mean no heart rate monitor) Just plan running and going as fast/slow as I felt. And it felt great! It was cold for 1.5 miles before I warmed up but was nice and I finished 3 miles, not 4 as I had planned, at 32:48, and all 3 miles were negative splits!
Second, the picture. Just an awesome photo of Devils Tower in Wy.
Third, Friday!! I totally relaxed today! I have goofed on the computer, washed some clothes, watched the Abyss, read some of my book and check out some new bloggers!
Fourth, I have updated my training schedule for the up coming week as I had not done it for the current week and being as the week is over, I just moved ahead. By my training schedule this is supposed to be my "recovery" week however being that I was pretty much recovering physically this week due to all the studying I will continue with week 3's schedule.
Fifth, tomorrow at TriVantage here in H-town is a free transition clinic, so I think I will go check it out! and let ya know about any good nuggets I get.
Sixth, Everyone have a great weekend!

I thought Devil's Tower was in Wyoming?
Either way - that is one cool pic.
oops, sorry, it is Wyoming, thanks Steven...
Stopped over to check our your blog :) I was a bit lazy last week too with my schedules, always next week right! 39* is freezing! I can't wait till it warms up and take the workouts outside more!

sounds like a great run! i take my rest day on sunday so i'm really, really glad tomorrow is SUNDAY! hallelujah! i've had 9 straight days and i'm a tired old chicken. although, today we rode here in a town called fountain hills. i think it is definitely called fountain hills for a reason... the weather was in the 80's and it was so nice. i kept thinking how lucky to be riding outside, with shorts on!
hope your clinic went well and you're having a great weekend!
Awesome photo! Thanks for stoppin' by my blog!
Naked run....very funny. Strange how I do feel naked when I train without my HR monitor. Sounds like a busy week and a relaxing weekend. Go get that vino! ;)
